We are putting a benefit event together for a brother in a bad motorcycle wreck, a lady ran a stop sign while on the phone causing Kenny Smoke-Henson aka smoke to collide with the side of her car on his motorcycle, he is out if work For an indefinite time that’s decided by each doctor visit, his fiancee is unable to work so their family of 4 lost their only income, there will be a bike and car show, raffle prizes, 50/50 raffle, Good afternoon full of fun. There will be a “Spindle Cell Sarcoma Cancer Corn Hole Tournament to benefit Landon Webb on Saturday, Sept. 12 starting at noon at Applebee’s on Smokey Park Hwy. Team entries are $35 with the top prize of $300. Registration includes your meal.

Produced by our sister station 105.9 the Mountain and Kick It Event Management, the Race to the Taps Oskar Blues 4-miler is no pub crawl! The Race to the Taps Running Series features six, brand new 4-mile, chip timed road races. Each course is designed with varying degrees of difficulty appropriate for both the seasoned runner as well as the casual runner/walker. Strollers and pets will not be allowed.
The race starting and ending at Oskar Blues Brewery features a brand new 4-mile rolling race course throughout the scenic Brevard neighborhoods surrounding the brewery.
All runners will receive a Race to the Taps can koozie as well as a cotton long sleeve race t-shirt and a beer pour after the race (must be at least 21 years old). Additional beer will be available for purchase. REGISTER TODAY!
To be guaranteed a tee, runners must sign up prior to the shirt deadline (September 21st).
